(a) For the purpose of satisfying Ohio R.C. 2923.12 or any other provision of law, the Law Director, as a law enforcement officer, is hereby authorized to carry concealed weapons or dangerous ordnance while acting in the scope of his or her duties, subject to qualifying as to proficiency on an annual basis.
(b) For the purpose of satisfying Ohio R.C. 2923.12 or any other provision of law, the Law Director shall have power to authorize any assistant law director to carry concealed weapons or dangerous ordnance while acting in the scope of his or her duties and may impose any training, qualification, or restriction obligation thereon.
