§ 153.006 ENFORCEMENT.
   (A)   Violations and other remedies.
      (1)   The city may find a violation of this chapter is a public nuisance and take enforcement action accordingly pursuant to this chapter.
      (2)   The City Council may designate a certain class of violations of this chapter as a Class A misdemeanor, which, upon conviction thereof, is punishable as prescribed in ORS Chapter 161. Such person is guilty of a separate violation for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of this chapter is committed or continued. The penalties imposed by ORS Chapter 161 are in addition to and not in lieu of any other remedies available to the city.
   (B)   Abatement of violation required. A finding of a violation of this chapter shall not relieve the owner of the duty to abate the violation.
   (C)   Responsible party. Compliance with this chapter is the responsibility of each property owner. If a provision of this chapter is violated by a business or other entity, the officer or officers of that entity shall be subject to the penalties imposed by this section.
