For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
HERITAGE TREES. Trees, shrubs, bushes and all other woody vegetation on public property, significant to the community due to species rarity, age, size, quality, association with historic events, persons or structures or scenic enhancement.
PARK TREES. Trees, shrubs, bushes and all other woody vegetation in public parks and all other areas owned by the city and open to the public.
PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY. Streets, alleys and walkways, including portions of dedicated rights-of-way which are not currently used as a street or alley.
STREET TREES. Trees, shrubs, bushes and all other woody vegetation on land located within public rights-of-way within the city.
