Licenses required by this subchapter shall be issued semi-annually to expire on June 30 and December 31 of each year, or annually to expire on December 31 of each year. The City Recorder, or designate, may prorate the license fee if the license period is not a full six months or full year, as the case may be; however, no license shall be issued for a lesser fee than two-thirds of the period charge.
