§ 71.23 PERMITS.

   (A)   The City Manager or designate is authorized to issue a permit for the operation of a vehicle/combination of vehicles not in compliance with §§ 71.21 and/or 71.22 if, in his or her judgment, the interest of the public will be served by the proposed movement and damage to the street will not be caused by such movement.

   (B)   Any application for a permit involving continuous operation not in compliance with §§ 71.21 or 71.22 must be presented to and acted upon by the City Council. All permit applications shall be in writing and upon forms provided by the City Manager.
