The City Manager, in consultation with the Chief of Police and Public Works Director, shall exercise the following duties:
(A) Implement the ordinances, resolutions and motions of the Council by installing, maintaining, removing and altering traffic control devices; such installations shall comply with state standards for traffic control devices for streets and highways;
(B) Establish, remove or alter the following classes of traffic controls:
(1) Crosswalks;
(2) Intersection channelization and areas where drivers of vehicles shall not make right, left or U-turns, and the time when the prohibition applies; and
(3) Parking areas and time limitations, including the form of permissible parking (e.g., parallel or diagonal).
(C) Issue oversize or overweight vehicle permits; and
(D) Regulate the installation of non-regulatory signs installed within city rights-of-way.
