This chapter shall be liberally construed to protect and preserve the peace, health, safety and welfare of the people of Mussey Township, and should any provision of this chapter be found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, such holding shall not be construed as affecting the validity of any of the remaining provisions, it being the intent of the Township Board that each and every provision of this chapter is important regardless of the invalidity of any one or more other provisions. Except as provided herein, the remainder of this chapter shall remain in full force and effect.
