§ 31.10 CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.
   (A)   There is hereby created the position of Code Enforcement Officer. The Code Enforcement Officer shall be appointed, and have his or her compensation set by the Chairperson with the consent of a majority of the Village Board. The Code Enforcement Officer shall report directly to the Chairperson and Board of Trustees.
   (B)   The Code Enforcement Officer is charged with the duty of maintaining and properly policing parking and nuisance violations in the Village and shall have full authority to execute notices of parking and nuisance violations in the Village.
   (C)   In addition to law enforcement officers, the Code Enforcement Officer is authorized to issue citations for any violations of the parking and nuisance ordinances under this code.
