(A)
No person shall operate a motor vehicle on any street, alley, or other place at a rate of speed greater than 25 miles per hour within the residential district, and 20 miles per hour within the business district, unless a different rate of speed is specifically permitted by ordinance. In no instance shall a person drive a vehicle on a highway at a greater speed than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions. Where a different speed is set by ordinance, appropriate signs shall be posted.

(B) The following speed limits are hereby set by ordinance and appropriate signs have been or shall be posted. It shall be unlawful to operate a motor vehicle at speeds greater than posted on the following streets:
(1) Fifteen miles per hour on the following streets surrounding Tyson Park:
(a) Young Street to the south;
(b) Park Avenue to the east;
(c) Davis Avenue to the west; and
(d) Alley between Young Street and High Street to the north.
(2) Twenty miles per hour: Davis Avenue from Main Street to the north corporate limits.
(3) Twenty-five miles per hour: Main Street from Davis Avenue to the Missouri-Pacific Railroad.
(4) The following speeds as they relate to State Highway N-1 in and around the Village of Murray as follows:
(a) Forty-five miles per hour on Main Street (Highway N-1) in Murray, Nebraska, from the west corporate village limits (which is 370 feet east of 18th Street) to N Davis Street.
(b) Twenty-five miles per hour on Main Street (Highway N-1) in Murray, Nebraska, from N Davis Street to 110 feet east of the Union Pacific Railroad Viaduct.
(c) Forty-five miles per hour on Main Street (Highway N-1) in Murray, Nebraska, from 110 feet east of the Union Pacific Railroad Viaduct to the east corporate village limits (which is 1320 feet west of US Highway 75).
