(A) The municipality or its authorized representative shall deny or discontinue water service to any premises or any consumer wherein any backflow prevention device required by this subchapter is not installed, tested, and maintained in a manner acceptable to the municipality or its authorized representative, or if it is found that the backflow prevention device has been removed or by-passed or if an unprotected cross connection exists.
(B) Water service to such premises shall not be restored until the consumer is in compliance with this subchapter to the satisfaction of the municipality or its authorized representative.
