(A) Construction of a water well of any kind, whether a sand point or a well drilled by cable or by rotation, shall be prohibited within corporate limits, or within one mile of the corporate limits, unless the Board of Trustees has approved by a majority vote. The well constructor must obtain written permission of the Board of Trustees before constructing the well.
(B) The water well must be located according to the distance allowances contained in State Health Department publication EE127B (1979). The applicable publication is available in the office of the Municipal Clerk for public inspection.
