§ 150.01 STATUTORY AUTHORIZATION.

(A) The Legislature of the State of North Carolina has in G.S. Chapter 143, Article 21, Part 6, Chapter 160A, Article 19, Parts 3, 5, and 8, Chapter 160A, Article 8, and Chapter 160D, delegated to local governmental units the responsibility to adopt designed to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare.

(B) Therefore, the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Murphy, North Carolina, does ordain as follows.
