(A) No person shall throw or deposit in or sweep into any street, sidewalk, gutter, public square, park or lot, land, or property in the town, any garbage, trash, rubbish, dirt, broken glass, tin cans, fruit peelings, refuse, ashes, waste, paper, pamphlets, leaflets, leaves, or litter of any kind whatsoever. No person shall deposit or leave on the outside of any automobile parked upon any of the public streets in the town any paper, leaflets, bulletins, advertising, or other material of any kind.
(B) It shall be the duty of the Police Department of the town to enforce the provisions of this section.
