The Planning Commission shall consist of one (1) member of Council elected by Council annually at its organizational meeting and of four (4) electors of the Municipality not holding other Municipal office in the Municipality. The four (4) electors shall be appointed and may be removed by the Mayor subject to confirmation by Council. The Mayor shall have the right to remove a Member of the Planning Commission with or without cause. The Mayor shall be an ex- officio member of the Commission, but shall have no vote.
Of the four (4) electors to be appointed, all such appointments shall be for a four (4) year term.
A vacancy occurring during the term of any member shall be filled for the unexpired term in the manner authorized for an original appointment.
Council, at its organizational meeting, may elect a second member of Council to serve and vote at a Planning Commission meeting when the primary elected Councilmember is unable to attend a meeting.
The Commission shall meet at least once each month.
