The Mayor, Superintendent of Roads and Utilities and the Chief of Police may place and maintain traffic control devices, as the same relate to the placing, timing and coordinating of traffic control devices, conforming to the Uniform Manual and specifications, upon all public ways of the Municipality as are necessary to indicate and to carry out the traffic laws of Ohio, this Traffic Code and other ordinances of the Municipality, and to regulate, warn or guide traffic pursuant to the authority contained in Section 305.03.
