Under provisions of Ohio R.C. 731.231, the City adopts, for purposes of regulating and safeguarding the use of electricity, electric installations and materials, those codes known as the National Electric Code, as amended from time-to-time and recommended by the National Fire Protection Association and the Tri-County Minimum Residential Rewire Electric Code, as amended from time-to-time by the Tri-County National Electric Code Uniform Interpretation Committee, with the intentions that the National Electric Code will be applied in its then current version at any time an issue is brought before the City.
