If the City Council decides the proposed dedication would be beneficial to the public interest, it shall accept for a period of one year the city street or road. The developer shall be notified of the initial acceptance date. This date shall begin the one-year warranty period during which time the city will periodically inspect the streets and the correction of any discovered defects will be the responsibility of the developer.
