The operator of any business, trade, profession, or otherwise, that continues to operate after July 1 of any fiscal year without a license, shall be subject to a fine for each day of such operation, and each day of such operation shall constitute a separate offense. Any such person or persons convicted of such offense shall be fined not less than $10 and not more than $100 for each offense. Any business, trade or profession, or otherwise, starting after July 1 of any fiscal year, shall be subject to like penalties for failure to secure a license when due.
