§ 110.05 DATE AND DURATION OF LICENSE.
   (A)   Business licenses are to be issued at City Hall for a fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30. Any person, partnership, business, trade or profession already established and in operation prior to July 1 must secure a license by that date. Any such person, business, trade or profession that does not have this license posted at his place of business by the first day of July of any new fiscal year shall secure a license immediately, and shall pay a penalty of 5% over the cost of the license.
   (B)   Any business, trade or profession established after July 1 of any fiscal year shall secure and post this license on the first day it opens for business. The business license tax shall be in proportion to the amount of time left in the fiscal year, and shall be subject to the same penalty for late payment as those established on July 1. All business licenses shall be issued to expire with the close of business on June 30 of each fiscal year.
   (C) In no event shall a license be granted to any business or any person for a longer time than one year.
