(A) All money received by the city or the Board of Cemetery Commissioners from the sale of burial lots in the Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, and all money received from any other source for the use of the Board of Cemetery Commissioners or the City Council for the care, maintenance, upkeep, repair, improvement and preservation of the cemetery, shall be kept in an account designated “Munfordville Municipal Cemetery”, which shall forever be kept and managed separate from all other business and funds of the city.
(B) The fund for which provision is herein made shall be held for the care, maintenance, upkeep, improvement and preservation of the cemetery. The income from the fund and such portion of the principal of the fund as the City Council shall deem that it is necessary to expend may be expended for such purpose, but for no other purpose whatsoever.
