§ 32.17 PLANNING COMMISSION.
   (A)   In order to promote the health, safety and general welfare of the residents of the village, the Chairperson and Board of Trustees of the village have created a Planning Commission to consider and recommend a comprehensive plan consistent with Neb. RS Ch. 19, art. 9.
   (B)   The Planning Commission of the village will be empowered under Neb. RS 19-925 through 19-933. The first duty of the Planning Commission will be to consider and recommend a comprehensive plan for the village.
   (C)   The Planning Commission for the village shall consist of five members, each of whom shall reside in the village, with the provision that up to two members only may reside within one mile of the village limits. One member shall be appointed for the term of one year, two members shall have terms of two years and two members shall have a term of three years.
