The purpose of this chapter is to promote the general welfare of the residents of the village by endorsing the provisions of the State Fair Housing Act, Neb. RS 20-301 through 20-344, to the effect that there shall be no discrimination in the village in the acquisition, ownership, possession or enjoyment of housing in accordance with Article I, § 25 of the Constitution of Nebraska.
