The governing body has the power and authority to fix by resolution the rates to be charged for the usage of the municipal sewer line. The Municipal Clerk-Treasurer shall bill the customers and collect all money received by the municipality on the account of the Sewer Department. He or she shall fully account for and pay to the Municipal Clerk-Treasurer all revenue collected by him or her, taking as his or her receipt therefor, and duplicate, filing one with the Municipal Clerk-Treasurer and keeping the other on file in the Sewer Department official’s records.
