§ 75.07 PARKING; OBSTRUCTING TRAFFIC; REMOVAL OF VEHICLE.
   Whenever any police officer finds a vehicle standing upon a street in violation of any provision of this chapter, such officer is hereby authorized to require the driver or other person in charge of the vehicle to remove the same to a position off of the main traveled part of the street; provided, that if any person so directed shall fail or refuse to move the vehicle or if such vehicle is unattended then such officer is hereby authorized to provide for the removal of such vehicle to the nearest available garage or other place of safety. The vehicle’s owner shall pay for such towing.
