§ 50.092 METERS INSTALLED, MAINTAINED AT EXPENSE OF CITY.
   (A)   Except as provided below, all meters shall be installed, renewed, and maintained at the expense of the city. The city reserves the right to determine the size and type of meter used.
   (B)   When the installation of a water meter requires rock removal, trenching, burrowing or boring, or other contingencies for the installation of water service, an “additional installation fee” shall be charged in addition to any other required fee(s), in the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) for a meter size between 3/4 and two (2) inches and four thousand five hundred dollars ($4,500) for a meter size between three (3) and six (6) inches. “Rock removal,” “trenching,” “burrowing or boring,” and “contingencies” are to be defined at the discretion of the city, its agents, or employees or any other person so designated by the city.
