§ 91.60 PURPOSE AND DEFINITIONS.
   (A)   Purpose. The purpose of this subchapter is to establish guidelines and procedures for the installation and maintenance of speed humps in residential neighborhoods to enhance safety and reduce speeding.
   (B)   Definitions. For the purpose of this subchapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      “NEIGHBORHOOD.” The area or region around or near some place or thing; vicinity.
      “SPEED BUMPS.” Similar to speed humps, but typically shorter and sharper in profile.
      “SPEED HUMPS.” Raised traffic-calming devices designed to slow down vehicle speeds, constructed of asphalt, parabolic in shape, covering twelve (12) feet of street with a height between three-and-one-quarter (3¼) and three-and-three-quarters (3¾) inches, running the width of street.
      “WARNING SIGNS.” Road signs indicating the presence of speed humps.
