This Zoning Ordinance is authorized by Ohio R.C. Chapter 713, which delegates to Ohio Municipal Corporations the power to devise, enact, administer and to enforce local zoning laws. This Zoning Ordinance, together with the Official Zoning Map, and all provisions contained herein shall be known as the City of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Zoning Code and may be cited as such or as the Zoning Code.
