(A) The Clerk-Treasurer shall collect a fee for each application requesting the designation of a particular area as an economic revitalization area.
(B) The fee shall be collected from the person requesting the economic revitalization area designation.
(C) The fee shall be sufficient to defray actual processing and administrative costs and shall be in the amount equal to:
(1) The cost of publishing the required notice; and
(2) Twenty five cents for each page reproduced of every document in the regular course of business for the presentation, discussion, and vote, of the tax abatement application. However, the application fee charged for filing a designation application for a parcel that contains one or more owner-occupied, single-family dwellings shall not exceed the cost of publishing the required notice.
(D) The fee must be paid and the Clerk-Treasurer shall collect the fee prior to the City Council's confirmation.
