CUSTOMER. Any person, firm, or corporation or entity which has agreed, orally, or otherwise, to pay for water service received from the Mount Vernon Water Department.
DEPARTMENT. The City of Mt. Vernon Water Department.
DISCONNECTION. The termination or discontinuance of water service.
LATE PAYMENT CHARGE. The one time penalty assessed by a water utility upon all current bills at such time as they become delinquent.
NOTICE. Notice mailed by regular first class U. S. Postal Service mail to the service address or last known address for customer or personal delivery to customer.
