§ 96.09 FEES.
   (A)   Annual permit fee. Any person operating a food service establishment within the corporate limits of the city shall pay a permit fee, which shall extend to December 31 of the year issued. Said permit fee may be prorated. If a permit for a permanent food service establishment is not renewed on or prior to December 31 each year, a late penalty shall be paid before the permit is reinstated.
   (B)   Health department permit fees.
      Food permit (non-daycare)      $275.00
      Food permit (daycare)      $150.00
      Late fee            $50.00
      Temporary food permit      $75.00
      Copy of Texas Food Establishment Rules   $10.00
      Pool (annual pools)         $200.00
      Mobile food vendor         $275.00
      Re-inspection         $100.00
   (C)   Fee exemptions. A food establishment operated solely by a nonprofit charity shall be exempt from the fees imposed by this section; provided, however, that such an establishment shall in all other respects be subject to the regulations and permit requirements relating to food service establishments. The regulatory authority may require any information necessary to determine whether an organization is a nonprofit charity for purposes of this exemption.
