§ 111.21 CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES UNLAWFUL IN CERTAIN PLACES.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to consume any alcoholic beverage or to have in his or her possession an open container that contains an alcoholic beverage while in, upon or at any of the following premises without submitting an application for a special event and the special event application has met all requirements and has been approved as provided in Chapter 112.
      (1)   A public park owned by the city;
      (2)   The Mount Pleasant Regional Airport;
      (3)   The Mount Pleasant Civic Center as set by the Civic Center Policy and Procedures Manual;
      (4)   Any facilities and/or premises owned by the city;
      (5)   City-owned cemeteries;
   (B)   Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this section shall be fined as provided in § 10.99.
   (C)   For purposes of this section, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE is used as defined in the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code.
