§ 98.005 STREET NUMBERS FOR BUILDINGS.
   (A)   All buildings fronting on any street or alley in the city shall be numbered in some conspicuous place by the owner thereof according to the map made by the Building Official for such purpose and on file in his or her office, all odd numbers being on one side of the street and all even numbers on the other.
   (B)   Any person desiring to have a number to be put on his or her building shall first apply to the Building Official for the proper number, and any person failing or refusing to put the proper number on his or her building or putting the wrong number thereon or failing or refusing to comply with any other requirement of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
