(A) No through truck traffic shall be allowed on the following streets within the city:
(1) Jefferson Street, between State Highway 49 and U.S. Highway 67;
(2) Madison Avenue, between its intersection with North Jefferson Street (at approximately East 9th Street) and extending to State Highway 49.
(B) The Chief of Police, with the approval of the City Manager, may designate other routes within the city as may be necessary to limit the flow of through truck traffic through the city.
