§ 51.56 TAPPING FEES.
   (A)   The following fees shall be charged and collected for all taps made to the city’s sanitary sewer system:

Standard 4-inch sewer tap in dirt - same side
$1,050.00
Standard 6-inch sewer tap in pavement
$1,750.00 + cost
Standard 6-inch sewer tap in dirt - same side
$1,250.00 + cost
*For larger taps contact the city for price.
**Manholes are required at any change in direction or elevation.
***Sewer taps requiring bore across any street will be charged at cost for the work.
****All sewer fees are based on local streets requiring typical pavement restoration.
Where the street section is more than 6-inches thick, additional fees will be included for the pavement restoration.
 
   (B)   In addition to the above tap fees, road bores will be $20.00 per foot. If open road cuts are allowed by the Director of Utilities the cost shall be an additional $150.00 per tap.
   (C)   If a city crew is required to locate a pre-existing tap by the landowner or contractor, the fee will be the full price for a tap.
