The city shall serve persons discharging in violation of this subchapter with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for satisfactory compliance. The city may disconnect without notice if the nature of the discharge is such as to materially damage the city sewer system, but in such case the city shall endeavor to notify the permit holder of the disconnect. However, there shall be no liability for failure to do so.
