§ 50.45 PLACEMENT BY PUBLIC UTILITY COMPANIES.
   Gas and electrical utility companies operating inside the city shall not place any meters on any building or at any location prior to authorization by the City Building Official. If any meter is placed without such authorization, the Building Official shall have the same removed at once and shall charge the utility company a removal fee of $15.00. In removing the illegally placed meter, the City Building Official may use any qualified city employee or any authorized employee of the utility company or may employ some qualified person to remove the same. If there are charges made by any person employed for such purposes, these charges shall be in addition to the $15.00 charged by the city.
