(A) Any person who violates any provision of this chapter for which no penalty is otherwise provided shall, upon conviction, be subject to the penalty in §10.99.
(B) Any person who violates any provision of §§ 50.23 through 50.26 shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $25 nor more than $500, or imprisoned for not more than 30 days, or both; and/or shall be subject to a civil penalty that shall not exceed $1.000, not including attorney’s fees and costs to collect and enforce the civil penalty, including, but not limited to, any proceedings to create a lien on any properly owned by the person found in violation of §§ 50.23 through 50.26 for any unpaid civil penalties. A violation of §§ 50.23 through 50.26 shall not be considered a continuing offense, but each day §§ 50.23 through 50.26 is violated shall be considered a separate and distinct violation.
