§ 111.30 EXCESSIVE FALSE ALARMS; PENALTIES.
   (A)   Any user of an alarm system which has more than ten false alarms within a calendar year shall be subject to the penalties specified in § 10.99 of the Mount Pleasant Code of Ordinances.
   (B)   The Communications Director shall notify the alarm user of such fact and direct that the user submit a report to the Communications Director on forms provided within 15 days of the date on the notice describing actions taken or to be taken to determine and eliminate the cause of the excessive false alarms.
   (C)   If the alarm user submits a report as directed, the Communications Director shall determine if the action taken or to be taken will substantially reduce the likelihood of false alarms and notify the alarm user in writing.
   (D)   If no report is submitted, or if the Communications Director determines that the action taken or to be taken will not substantially reduce the likelihood of excessive false alarms, the Communications Director shall cause a citation to be issued to the alarm user for violating the provisions of this chapter.
