In any case of unsanitary conditions as referred to in § 93.01, the Code Enforcement Official shall give written notice to the owners of the premises in question, or to any agent in charge thereof, specifying the condition to be corrected, the steps to be taken for such correction, and the time within which correction shall be made. Such notice shall be in writing addressed to the owner of such premises or to any agent in charge thereof, and the deposit of such notice in the post office addressed to such owner or agent at his or her last known address, postage prepaid, shall be sufficient service of such notice. In case the name or address of such owner or agent is unknown, such notice may be served by posting it on the premises in question.
