§ 73.06  BICYCLES NOT IN POSSESSION OF OWNER.
   In the case of seizure of a bicycle found in the possession of a person not the legal owner or custodian thereof, if the bicycle is not reclaimed by the legal owner or custodian, it shall be sold at public auction 60 days from the date of seizure or disposed of pursuant to § 38.136 of the code. In any event, notice containing a description of the bicycle shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the municipality one week prior to the date of sale or, if no sale, one week prior to the 60 days after the seizure. Proceeds of the sale shall be remitted to the administrator of the registration fund as provided in § 73.27 or disposed of pursuant to § 38.136 of the code.
