§ 71.004 RIDING ON PORTION OF VEHICLE NOT DESIGNED FOR PASSENGERS.
   No person shall ride on any vehicle on any portion thereof not designated or intended for the use of passengers. This provision shall not apply to an employee engaged in the necessary discharge of duty, or to persons riding within truck bodies in space intended for merchandise.
