The following functions and duties will be accomplished by the Department of Transportation:
(A) Development of the Town Transportation Plan.
(B) Preparation of official comments regarding development projects and impact assessments submitted for approval through the Planning and Development Department.
(C) Maintenance and repair of traffic signals.
(D) Inspection of streets, sidewalks constructed as part of an approved development or constructed by the town.
(E) Enforcement of street system warranties associated with approved development projects.
(F) Design and coordination of town transportation projects, including contract management.
(G) Any other matters related to divisions (A) through (F) hereinabove, in addition to matters related to the general well being of the town's transportation system.
