§ 36.44 DETERMINATION OF ELECTION; FORMAL DECLARATION.
   The person receiving the highest number of votes for Mayor shall be declared duly elected Mayor. The persons receiving the highest number of votes for Councilmember, in number equal to the number of Councilmembers to be chosen, shall be declared duly elected Councilmembers. Such declaration shall be by resolution of the Council.
