The Charleston County Board of Elections and Voter Registration shall certify all election results, including the whole number of votes cast, together with the number cast for each candidate for Mayor and for each candidate for Councilmember, and, when applicable, the number of votes cast for and against each proposition voted on at the election, and transmit the same in writing to the Town Council in a timely manner.
