§ 33.09 BATTALION CHIEFS.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of the Chief of the Fire Department to appoint any one of several Battalion Chiefs.
   (B)   The Battalion Chiefs shall be responsible for the daily emergency and routine operations of the Fire Department, and at emergency scenes shall assume command of the Department.
   (C)   In the event of the incapacity or absence of the Chief or the Assistant Chief, the most senior Battalion Chief shall be in charge of Department administration and operations.
