Except as may be provided otherwise by statute, this code, or other ordinance, the Director of Financial and Corporate Services shall receive all fees for town licenses and permits, and all claims and accounts that may be due and payable to the municipality, and shall deposit all money belonging to the municipality in such bank as the Finance Committee may direct.
