§ 31.020 CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER; POWERS AND DUTIES.
   The Mayor shall be the C HIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER. As such, the Mayor shall have the powers and perform the duties prescribed by statute, this code, and other ordinances, and he or she shall be vigilant and active at all times in causing the ordinances and laws for the municipal government to be duly executed and put in force.
