(A) The order of business for regular Town Council meetings shall be as follows:
(2) Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
(3) Approval of the agenda.
(4) Awards and presentations.
(5) Public hearings.
(6) Public comments.
(7) Approval of the minutes from the last regular Council meeting and, if applicable, any recent special Council meeting(s), and approval of the financial statement/report.
(8) Consent agenda.
(9) Planning matters.
(a) New business, planning ordinances and approvals.
(b) Old business, planning ordinances and approvals.
(10) Committee action items.
(11) Council business.
(a) New business: ordinances, resolutions, items for discussion and approval.
(b) Old business: ordinances, resolutions, items for discussion and approval.
(12) Executive session (if applicable).
(B) The chair shall allow a deviation from the foregoing order of business for regular meetings only by majority consent of all members present.
(C) The order of business of special Town Council meetings shall be determined on a meeting-by- meeting basis.
(D) All Council meetings shall be conducted in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order, unless otherwise adopted by Council.
