§ 30.27 SERGEANT AT ARMS.
   The Chief of Police shall maintain a roster of members of the Police Department so that one police officer shall attend each regular meeting of the Council, and each special meeting thereof unless otherwise provided by the Mayor or Councilmembers calling such special meeting. The police officer so in attendance at any meeting of the Council shall act as sergeant at arms to the Council, and he or she shall maintain order at such meeting and execute the orders of the Council as given by the presiding officer.
