3-2-27: VIOLATION; PENALTIES:
   A.   Any person who sells alcoholic liquor at any place without having first obtained a valid license to do so under the provisions of this chapter, or shall make any false statement or otherwise violates any of the provisions of this chapter in obtaining any license hereunder, or shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter with respect to the distribution or sale of alcoholic liquor, or with respect to the maintenance of the licensed premises, or shall violate any other provision of this chapter, shall be fined in an amount not to exceed the maximum allowable fine as provided from time to time in the Illinois Liquor Control Act, as amended. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
   B.   Each day any person engages in business as a distributor or retailer in violation of the provisions of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense. (1979 Code § 3-4-26)
   C.   Any person under the age of twenty one (21) years who, for the purpose of buying, accepting or receiving alcoholic liquor other than beer and wine from a licensee, represents that he is twenty one (21) years of age or over shall for a first offense be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00), and for a second or subsequent offense be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00).    D.   Any act or omission of whatsoever nature constituting a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter by any officer, director, manager or other agent or employee of any licensee, shall be deemed and held to be the act of such employer or licensee, and said employer or licensee shall be punishable in the same manner as if said act or omission had been done or omitted by him personally.
